Managing Attorney Edwin Villa
Edwin Villa is the managing attorney of The Villa Law Firm. He graduated Suma Cum Laude with two bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Houston in 2015. In 2018, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston Law Center, receiving a Juris Doctorate degree.
While in law school, Mr. Villa earned membership into the prestigious law school honor societies of The Order of the Barons and The Order of the Coif. Mr. Villa also received a Distinguished Service Award upon graduating from the UHLC because of his extensive work in the school’s Immigration Clinic. He also had the honor of earning an internship with the Hon. Judge David Hittner of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Attorney Matthew Swiger
Matthew Swiger is a partner in The Villa Law Firm. He has practiced law for more than 7 years, primarily concentrating in federal litigation. He has advocated for clients in a variety of forums including before state and federal agencies, in state and federal court, and in arbitration. After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 2010 with a BA in Economics and Classical Studies, he attended The University of Houston Law Center earning a Juris Doctorate in 2013.
