Deportation Defense

 

  • Representation for detained individuals, including bond and removal proceedings
  • Representation for non-detained individuals throughout all removal proceedings
  • Filing for and submitting all supporting evidence for all forms of potential relief, including LPR and non-LPR Cancellation of Removal, Adjustment of Status, all eligible waivers for any criminal issues, motions to terminate where applicable, TPS, and any other form of potential relief

Asylum

 

  • Affirmative Asylum for those applying while in the United States, including filing of application and all supporting evidence, as well as preparation and representation for the asylum interview
  • Defensive Asylum for those who are already in removal proceedings, including the filing of the application and submission of all supporting evidence to the Immigration Court, as well as preparation of client and witnesses and representation throughout the client’s removal proceedings
  • Arriving non-citizens needing preparation and representation with the arrival into the U.S. process, credible fear interview, and release from detention

Family Immigration

 

  • Applying for benefits for the family member of a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.  This would include the potential filing of the necessary petition and the adjustment of status application and all supporting documents for the non-citizen spouse, child, or parent. 
  • Preparation and representation for any interviews with USCIS 
  • Responding to any Requests for Evidence or Notice of Intent to Deny pending applications or petitions
  • Consular Processing for family members outside of the United States
  • I-601a waivers for those eligible non-citizens in the U.S. who entered into the U.S. without inspection or admission
  • Fiancee visas for the non-citizen located outside of the U.S

Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

 

  • File initial or renewal applications with all supporting documents
  • File and submit all documents to immigration court for those applying for TPS while in removal proceedings
  • File for those individuals who already have received a final order of deportation

Naturalization

 

  • Preparation of application and required evidence                    
  • Represent clients at USCIS interview
  • Preparation of client for civic exam
  • English speaking requirement waivers for those eligible applicants
  • Civic Exam waivers for those eligible applicants
  • Naturalization hearing requests and representation if necessary

Appeals

 

  • Appeals to the AAO for any eligible applications denied by USCIS
  • Appeals to the BIA for orders of removal issued by an immigration Judge
  • Appeals to the correlating Federal District Court of BIA denials

Motions To Reopen

 

  • Submission of motion and all supporting evidence to correlating Immigration Judge or BIA based upon new law, ineffective assistance of prior counsel, change in country conditions, or any other relevant developments in the client’s case

Work Authorizations

 

  • Initial or renewal of work authorizations Whether based on pending asylum applications, adjustment of status, TPS, or other qualifying category

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)

 

  • File initial or renewal  application and submit all supporting documents

Specialized Immigration Relief

 

  • SIJ petitions for Special Immigrant Juveniles
  • Petitions for victims of domestic violence or other abuse from U.S. citizen or LPR spouse through VAWA
  • Petitions for victims of human trafficking or other victims of serious crimes
